1. Who We Are
1.1 Sade Scouts is the trading name of Benyamin Sade, an independent freelance model scout based in London who scouts internationally.
1.2 Sade Scouts is not a modelling agency, mother agency or talent management company, and does not hold itself out as one.
2. Definitions
2.1 In these terms:
- "the Scout" means Sade Scouts;
- "the Applicant" means anyone who submits digitals or otherwise applies to the Scout;
- "the Agency" means any modelling agency, brand, casting director or client to whom the Scout introduces an Applicant; and
- "Introduction" means the act of presenting an Applicant's details or images to an Agency.
3. Acceptance of These Terms
3.1 By submitting the Get Scouted form or otherwise engaging with the Scout, the Applicant (and, where applicable, their parent or guardian) agrees to be bound by these terms.
3.2 The Scout may revise these terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page.
4. Age and Eligibility
4.1 Applicants must be aged 16 or over on the date of application.
4.2 Applicants aged 16 or 17 may apply only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian. That consent must be given before any Introduction is made, and the Scout may contact the parent or guardian to confirm it.
4.3 The Scout will not consider, store or forward any application from a person under 16. Any such submission will be deleted.
4.4 Applicants must provide accurate information and genuine, unedited photographs of themselves.
5. What the Scout Does
5.1 The Scout provides a non-exclusive introductory service. This involves reviewing digitals, offering informal guidance on presentation, and introducing Applicants whom the Scout believes have potential to suitable Agencies.
5.2 The Scout may decline to make an Introduction at their discretion and is not obliged to give reasons.
6. What the Scout Does Not Do
6.1 The Scout does not represent, manage or contract on behalf of Applicants. The Scout does not negotiate terms with Agencies on an Applicant's behalf, does not arrange bookings or castings, and does not give legal, financial or career advice.
6.2 Any contract an Applicant enters into with an Agency is solely between the Applicant and that Agency. Applicants are encouraged to seek independent advice before signing any agreement.
7. No Fees to Applicants
7.1 The Scout will never charge an Applicant, or their family, any fee, deposit, portfolio cost or other payment at any stage.
7.2 If anyone claiming to act for Sade Scouts asks for payment, the Applicant should refuse and report it to sadescouts@gmail.com.
8. Scouting Fees Paid by Agencies
8.1 Where an Introduction leads directly to an Applicant being signed, placed or booked, the Scout may be entitled to a scouting fee or commission. Any such fee is payable by the Agency alone, on terms agreed in writing between the Scout and that Agency.
8.2 Such a fee is never the responsibility of the Applicant and does not create any ongoing representation of the Applicant by the Scout.
